The EA have also issued documents on the New rules for agricultural waste:
New rules for agricultural waste    (69kb)  (Dec 05)

Code of Practice for Using Plant Protection Products

The Pesticide Safety Directorate (PSD) have produced five short, separate leaflets to help growers read important advice and guidance from the code of practice but without having to go all the way through it.  These leaflets do not replace the code of practice but might be easier for some of you to print off and have at hand. They can be found at http://www.pesticides.gov.uk/safe_use.asp?id=1934

You can download the PSD leaflet, "Disposing of pesticide waste from farms and smallholdings" here: PSD Waste Management and Disposal    (949kb)

Further meetings have been held amongst the Levy Board members of ARF and a joint response to the EA's Draft waste management regulations was made on 16 March 2005, and can been seen here .
